Remix culture - What's going on?  It is my first time to learn 3D, which is unfamiliar and going to be hard for me in this creative activity. However, I feel it is interesting as well that helps us to figure out media culture of various concepts that contains our infinite imagination.  For the second class of OBDF 110, we learned about a remix culture. The remix culture produces new creative products, which are derivative works, by edited, designed, and a combination of more than two pieces of work from existing materials. The remix culture appears a kind of form such as music, movies, and books in our daily life. It is necessary to reinterpret and appreciate a new generation of the culture that brings more inventive works that the origin can be reinforced by it. (I predict that this chair is designed by Karim Reshid.) After I watched the Gary Hustwit's Objectified film, the design of chairs inspired me to create the similar object of it. As he's saying, design has an important role to either attract or make people feel uncomfortable. The common chair such as wood is not stable for people to sit (and for a little bit long time), and other chairs which were made that did not care about safety and comfortableness as well. While I'm creating this object, I also learned the importance of design.
